Spinning Out is a good book with many different twist and turns. The book really makes you think. There are some words that may have to be looked up but for the most part it is a good read. I rather enjoyed this book but there were some things I had to reread many times or some strings not completely concluded. There is very vivid discriptions of some parts and wouldn't recomend this book for anyone under 14 years old. There are 3 other books in the Blackhawk Boys series. The Blackhawk Boys; Going Under The Blackhawk Boys; Falling Hard The Blackhawk Boys; In Too Deep The 3 last books are not about Mia and Arrow, they're about Arrows Friends. Chris, Keegan, and mason.

Spinning Out is in the eyes of Mia Mendez and Arrow Woodison. A hit-and-run that claims the life of Mia's older brother Nicholas and leaves her boyfriend, Brogan, brain dead. Her father spins out of control after her brothers death and Mia takes a job as the live in nanny for Arrow's younger sister Katie. What sucks for Mia is her undeniable connection to Arrow that can never happen because Arrow and Brogan are best friends - or were best friends before the accident.
What sucks for Arrow is that the girl living in the room next to him is here at all. Arrow doesn't want Mia in his house because he's been in love with her even before she met Brogan. Arrow doesn't trust himself with her. Before the accident Arrow had the best spot on the best teams for football, he was very wealthy, he had the good life - until the accident. Arrow spin out of control, with a semester of drugs and alcohol he lost everything. One thing that hurts Arrow the most is that since the accident Mia has walked around like the walking dead, just doing what she has to to survive, nothing more. Arrow aims to change that.
Can Mia find out who killed her brother and who left Brogan brain dead?
Can Arrow live with himself with the big secret he's carrying?
What will they do?
Will their undeniable connection lead them toward each other, or away from each other?
