Onyx is the second book in the Lux series.
Onyx is just as good as Obsidian and shows all the characters you love from the first book.
There are two major plot lines to this book.
The first one is what happened in the final chapters of Obsidian. Daemon and Katy have to figure out what the heck is happening to her and him and what they're going to do about it.
They don't think they should tell anyone until they know more. But that may end badly for them...
The second plot Onyx is that Daemon has made it his mission to prove is affection and feelings towards Katy are real and not just because of what they've gone through.
Onyx is another book that you wont want to put down because there is a curve ball and something always around the corner.
Again with Onyx I would recommend it for 13 and older and again because of some of the content and because there are some things that you have to think of and some connections to the world. Touching on the Department of Defense and that they really aren't doing crazy things in reality, like they are in the book.

Being connected to Daemon Black sucks. And thanks to his alien mojo Daemons determined to prove his feelings for Katy are real and not a product of their bizarro connection that they have. Katy had sworn him off, even though Daemon is running more hot than cold these days. But Daemon and Katy have bigger problems, something worse than the Arum have come to town, the Department of Defense. If they find out about Daemons powers and that he and Katy are connected she is a goner, and so is he.
And to add to all of that there is a new boy in town, Blake, who's got secrets of his own. He knows what has happened to Katy and he can help her, but to do so she has to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Against all common sense Katy is falling for Daemon, hard. But then everything changes... and Katy sees someone who shouldn't be alive. And Katy knows she has to tell Daemon, even though she knows he won't stop until he gets the truth. What happened to his twin brother? Who betrayed them? And what does the Department of Defense want from them - from Katy? No one is who they seem, and everyone is keeping secrets.
And not everyone will survive the lies.
