Frostbite is the second book in the Vampire Academy Series.
I think Frostbite was an okay book.
I thought pretty much the majority was all just plot setting and low cut, no action, no romance just getting things done.
The last couple of chapters were really really good.
Great battle good strong things and Richelle did a good job and I enjoyed it, I just felt that the rest of the book was just boring.
This book I don't recall having to look up any words.
I would recommend Frostbite for any age because there is only some violence and it is only for like a chapter and it isn't even that gruesome.

It is winter break at St. Vladimir's Academy but Rose Hathaway is feeling anything but festive. A huge Strigoi attack has put the academy on high alert, and now the academy is crawling with guardians - including Rose's hard-hitting mother Janine Hathaway. And if fighting with her mom isn't bad enough, Rose's tutor Dimitri has eyes on someone else, her good friend Mason has a huge crush on her and Rose keeps getting sucked in and stuck in Lissa's head while she's making out with her boyfriend Christian. The Strigoi are closing in, and the academy aren't taking any risks, this year St. Vladimir's annual ski trip is mandatory.
But the glittering winter landscape and the posh Idaho resort on has the illusion of safety.
When three friends run in an offensive move against the deadly Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them.
But the heroism rarely comes without a price.
