Obsession is a great book written by my favourite author.
Obsession is a spin-off from the Lux series but it is about the Arum Hunter.
He is sexy and devious and jaw-droppingly perfect, get annoying, agatating and a huge tease.
Hunter has been assigned to protect Serena all all costs but he didn't agree to all the work it takes to keep her safe.
Yet he cant help but feel something more for her, her beautiful smile and her stupid sandwich.
You'll get to that part.
I like Obsession because it's a combination of a sexy asshole, arrogant, get he wants her in more than one way, will protect her. She never makes it easy - obviously and it is just an amazing book and I love it!
I love Jennifer L. Armentrout, I love her writing and how she makes these characters so good and make you want to kill anyone who interrupts you.
She makes you attached to everyone in the book and dread the end because its so good.
I would say it should be 14+ because there is really explicit language and lots of sexual activities.

He's arrogant, domineering, and... To. Die. For.
Hunter is a ruthless killer. and the Department of Defense has him tightly in their grasp, which usually doesn't chafe too badly because he gets to kill the bad guys. Most of the time he loves his job. That is until he is saddled with something he never had to do: protect a human from is mortal enemy.
Serena Cross didn't believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something... unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her best friend's murder at the hands of what can only be an alien - thrusting her into a world that would kill to keep their secret.
Hunter stirs Serena's temper and her lust despite their differences.
Soon he'll be doing the unthinkable - breaking the rules he's lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena's life... or is it Hunter?
