Oblivion is the exact same book as Obsidian just insead of the whole book being out of Katy's perspective it is out of Daemon's perspecitve.

The way Daemon thinks is actually really cool.

as you read on the Obsidian book the battle within Katy about hating Daemon and loving him is crazy, but it's an even bigger battle for Daemon.

It's a cool book to read after you've read the entire series because you have a lot of moments where you think "damn, you say that now, haha just you wait".

Oblivion has exactly the same dialog as Obsidian - as it's the same book, but it's cool to see how different Daemon thinks compared to Katy's.

Experience the epic love story of Obsidian told by its hero, Daemon Black.

I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door there was going to be trouble. Lot's of it.

And trouble is the last thing I need, since I'm not exactly from around here.

My people arrived her from Lux, a planet thirteen billion Lightyear's away. Plus if there's one thing I know, it's that humans can't be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. 'Cuz they are.

But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can't stop myself from wanting her - or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and I'm the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. Because the Luxan have an even bigger enemy - the Arum, and I need to stay on my game.

Falling for Katy - a human won't just put her in danger. It could get us all killed, and that's one thing I'll never let happen....
