Again this book isn't my usual go to paranormal but it was free and on iBooks and I was desperate to read a book and I'm happy I picked this one because it actually turned out to be a good book.

There was action from the beginning and it never really slowed down, and neither did the attraction to every man in this book.

I mean who could blame you, they're Navy SEALs.

I liked Caroline because she isn't fake. I liked that Susan made Caroline like most woman. A lot of woman in books are skinny, tall and blonde - practically Victoria Secret models. Susan made Caroline like woman in the real world.

This book is also in the third person, and like I said before I don't typically like books that are in the third person but I don't think this book could have been made in a person's point of view. It was perfect the way the book was, I liked the insight into how all the characters where thinking and feeling, not just the main character or two. I don't really know how to explain this book without giving spoilers away because it's that kind of book. It is action through the whole book basically.

There are other books in this series but it isn't able Caroline and Matthew (the main characters of this book) it's about another SEAL Abe's (his nickname, you'll know all about that in the book but again can't say or it'll spoil parts of the book) life and past and his story, same thing for the other SEALs on Matthews team as well.

I would say 14 or 15 years of aged I'd allow because there is swearing and it's pretty gruesome at some parts.

I would rate this book an 8/10

**Protecting Caroline is a stand-alone love story. It’s Book 1 in the SEAL of Protection Series.** Matthew “Wolf” Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn’t have to do it very often. He’d been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside. When Caroline boarded the plane to Virginia to move across the country for her new job she never expected to be seated next to the hottest guy she’d ever seen. She also never expected he’d be so easy to talk to. She knew he’d never be interested in talking to her if he hadn’t been trapped in the seat next to her, but it was a nice way to spend a long plane ride. Neither Wolf nor Caroline were prepared for a terrorist hijacking of their plane, but if Caroline thought that would be the last time she’d see, or need, Wolf, she’d be sorely mistaken.
