Harlequin Intrigue. I really liked the main character Ian Dempsey in this. I loved his caution and his protection towards Meg and her son Travis. I loved the burning passion between Meg and Ian and them not knowing if they could rekindle what they had. The plot to this book was really good and I had to keep telling my parents to stop yelling at me, I know we had to leave but I needed to read just one more page. The suspense in this book was a good bonus as well. My grandmother told me that she liked the Intrigue books that involved babies and I thought she was crazy. I do love babies but I was more about the romance and the sexy cop protecting the girl. But she loved when I told her she was right. Every scene with Travis melted my heart. He's such a cute friggen kid. Ian had a mission and one thing wasn't expected, he'd run into the woman he left behind to complete an undercover mission. Years had passed and he still knew that he loved her, and wanted to be with her, but should he? When the killer strikes and stakes are high Ian goes from charming his wife into loving him again to protective bodyguard before she can say her name. Meg said she could take care of herself, but she knew Ian wasn't going away until the killer was caught. Meg tried to keep Ian at arms length because she has a two year old son, and Ian left her three years ago. How long can she keep that a secret?
There is sex in this book but nothing major, I would let anyone mature read it. Death, love, suspense, the usual awesome Harlequin Intrigue style. I rate this book a 6/10. All the Intrigue books I've read so far are really good.

Ian Dempsey knew he'd have a lot to answer for when he bumped into Meg, the wife he'd left behind to complete an undercover mission. Nearly three years had passed since he'd last seen her, but she was as beautiful as ever--and as angry. Before he could explain his reasons for temporarily walking away, shots rang out and Ian quickly went from husband to bodyguard. Investigating his enemies would take time. And whether Meg liked it or not, he wouldn't leave her side until he could guarantee her safety. One step back into her life, though, and Ian knew the stakes were even higher. She had a two-year-old son. And he looked exactly like Ian....
