OMG! OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK! This series is in the Lux Series, and the Angel Academy Series category of awesome! Holy Moly!
In the first few chapters I fell in love - and hard! Ugh! Honestly I can't even.
Once I finished the first book I raced to buy the second one. All books online at Amazon.com the first book (this one) is free so I encourage everyone to download it, hunker down with some hot chocolate and fall in love with the Guardians and the Powerhouse of a human named Emerson Hope Baxter. The longing between both Emmy and Marcus the leader of the Guardians - the Fist Guardian, if you will, is ahhhhh. That's how I sum it up. The burning longing and stolen glances and thoughts for one another made me fall in love with two characters the way I love Katy Swartz and Daemon Black and Amelie and Jack. Not only will you fall in love with Emmy and Marcus, but the rest of the Guardians too. Rio and his twin Miku, Jay and Reese, and Ameana.
There is love and heart break, longing and mystery and a whole new world of fantasy and heart throbbing, read one more page, don't make me stop reading, kind of gush for this series. One thing I found about this book and the rest of the series as well is the way it's written. It isn't in the thrid person describing what is happen but out of Emmy's perspective, but half way through it goes to Marcus's perspective then back to Emmy's for the end of the book. It says book 1 book 2 and book 3 but really it's jsut three sections to ONE book. I did find a few punctuation mistakes, like capitalization errors and stuff but nothing major in this book. I was beyond in love.
There's no sex or anything like that but a little bit of violence. I would let anyone read this book. I rate it, 9/10 only because of the mistakes and it is the first book of the series.

After his death, Marcus found the love of his life... Unfortunately it's not his sexy, telekinetic angel girlfriend --- it's Emmy Baxter... a human. Between torture, demon attacks, and midterms, Marcus and Emily must fight their feelings for a devastating prophecy has predicted: "Should Angel and Human unite, humanity will perish."
(It is way better than it sounds, trust me)
