This is the first book in a trilogy of sexy Archangels. I found I really connected with the main character Jane Mehr, she funny, witty, relatable, and quick on her toes. She doesn't care that people think she's crazy or that people don't believe in what she says, she just does her. Jane - at points - had me laughing, like really laughing. I love Jane, and the Archangels are described pretty damn well. I think Lucifer is my favourite. Lucifer is completely different then what you would think the fallen angel would be like - he's not red with a tail and horns and a staph, he's well dressed, mannered and a sexy as hell tease to Jane. Honestly he reminds me of Lucifer from the television show Lucifer. Michael is obviously the oldest and he is the rational one, but at the 80% done mark he disappears and doesn't come back to the end without an explanation (you'll get what I mean when you read the book). Gabriel is funny, he's the most there character and I love how all of them never let Jane have a break.
This book revolves around the angels helping Jane and her best friend Mandy out on a missing person's case. Frankly I found that the mystery behind the case was lacking, it needed to be more detectivey, if you know what I mean. O'Connor is funny and how Jane get's under his skin, priceless. I found that this book had grammar errors, I had found myself going back and rereading some parts and thinking to myself that I know that isn't right. Some punctuation mistakes. I wished there was more of mystery like I said cause Jane didn't really help like she was meant to. I wished the angels had done more, more with sex, helping the case and saving Jane. Even though I am full Girl Power, I would love a sexy Archangel so swoop down and save me from imminent danger and sadly, that just didn't happen. I wanted and hoped for more of that and it just didn't come.
There is lots of swearing in this book and the sex scenes in it are very detailed and Jane's commentary makes this a rated book. I wouldn't let anyone under 14 read it, especially if they can't tell between fantasy and non-fiction.
I give this book a 6/10.

Jane has a problem. She can see angels, and not just any angels, but archangels. There’s Michael, tough, gorgeous, and smarter than Sherlock Holmes. Lucifer, the bad boy you love to, well, love. And Gabriel? Well, he’s like the best friend she always wanted, only with washboard abs. Together they make an awesome team when they aren’t trying to figure out a way to screw like bunnies. Or, at least, they will when a girl goes missing. Now it’s up to Jane and her angels to crack the case, bring the girl home, and save the day. …and this time, she might find that helping gets her what she’s really wanted all along.
